NCC Academy has proudly expanded cricket across the Niagara region through several community and school-based programs. In partnership with DSBN, we coached cricket programs at five public schools across Niagara, helping introduce the sport to new students. We also delivered a cricket program at St. Martin Catholic School in Smithville, hosted an “Intro to Cricket” pop-up at the Ontario Public School annual BBQ, and ran a cricket program during the City of Niagara’s March Break camp.
In partnership with the Laura Wijeyeratne Cricket Foundation, NCC Academy is also bringing to Niagara the first-ever youth cricket league in 2026 — the Niagara Youth Cricket Premier League (NYCPL). This initiative will offer free registration for kids of all ages, creating an inclusive pathway for young athletes to experience competitive cricket.
