Srimantha Wijeratne (born 3 June 1989) is a Sri Lankan-born Canadian cricketer.[1] He has represented the Canada national cricket team since 2015 and plays as a right-handed wicketkeeper/batsman. International career In 2007, Wijeratne represented the Sri Lanka national under-19 cricket team in a Test against Bangladesh, opening the batting with Lahiru Thirimanne.[2] Wijeratne made his List A cricket debut in the 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament against the Netherlands on 17 January 2015.[3] He was in Canada's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament.[4] In September 2018, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 Americas Qualifier tournament.[5] In October 2018, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies.[6] In April 2019, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia.[7] In September 2019, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2019 Malaysia Cricket World Cup Challenge League A tournament.[8] In October 2019, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates.[9] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Canada, against Oman, on 25 October 2019.[10] In March 2023, he was named in Canada's squad for the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.[11] He made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 27 March 2023, for Canada, against Jersey in that tournament.[12] Source - Wikipedia Srimantha is only the third player in history to score 50s on T20i and ODI Debut after Rassie Van Der Dussen and Ishan Kishan
